There are applications commercially available
in market which blocks the USB pen drive usage
across the network. But there are circumstances
where USB pen drives are needed to share information
within organization and occasionally outside
organization.
Strength of Trinfin USB-Vault lies in its
Special Trinfin USB Drive which creates a
secured encrypted partition with a soft &
hard key combination. Hard Key is created
with unique serial ID of the hardware and
the soft key is stored in database which is
retrieved in corporate network during authentication
process.
Partition encryption is done using AES 256
bit standard algorithm which secures the media
when idle or attempted in external environment.
While strong process is implemented in authorization
& control, event logging gives strength to
the monitoring activities. Advanced report
center covers all positive & negative logging
of events at end points like Login report,
unauthorized access attempt user/media, writing
report etc.
Trinfin USB-Vault is Client Server based application.
Client Agent runs in each network computer
which communicates with server for authorization
and policy guidelines while policies are implemented
at local node. Most importantly the management
of end point agents is automated with remote
management which empowers administrator to
manage the tool efficiently with least effort.
